Windham Church of God

WCOG Mission

The Windham Church of God (WCOG) is a local church within the Church of God (COG), Cleveland, Tennessee. As such, its membership is committed to Mission and Vision of the COG.

As a local congregation, the WCOG is committed to the following:

• To introduce people of all ages to the full Gospel of Jesus Christ through the public proclamation God's Word, the sharing of personal testimonies, and deeds of service and Christian charity.
• To encourage the fellowship of believers, the sharing of blessings, and the comforting of those in need; uniting in corporate and intercessory prayer; gathering together to exalt the Lord through anointed and distinctively Pentecostal worship.
• To foster strong, loving, and caring relationships within families, the congregation, and the community we serve.
• To disciple believers toward spiritual maturity and a progressively deeper relationship and commitment to God and His Word, emphasizing biblical literacy and the need for spiritual discipline in the recognition, development, and utilization of spiritual gifts to edify the Body of Christ and bring glory to Jesus Christ.
• To facilitate the sending forth of fully equipped believers to proclaim the gospel in fulfillment of the Great Commission.
